The Secret of Life of Two Teenagers

DESCRIPTION:
This is Sophia and Jake. We are on our Road to College Hotness. We are 17 Year Old Seniors From Central California. Our 2012 Resolution is to get in shape, be healthy and fit before going to College. All our methods will be from exercise and dieting, this will be an all natural process. (No diet pills, protein shakes, pre-workout, etc.) January 2nd marks the day we officially begin our new life style and our date to accomplish will be May 2nd. This Blog is to document our progress and serve has inspiration and motivation to anyone. (Calorie counts for all our diets will not always be provided)

Day 3 (Sophia)

Breakfast-9:45- one cup of Special K with strawberries cereal (that stuff is delicious) accompanied by a cup of Vitamin D 2% reduced fat Milk.

Snack- 2:15- orange with salt

Lunch- 3:30- two bean and beef tostadas (I have to watch my proportions with this mexican food or its going to take me up the scale)

Snack- 6:10- orange with salt

*On my fourth bottle of water

Today Jake and I jogged 5.294 MILES. I didn’t think I had it in me, but Jake keeps me motivated! Needless to say that I am extremely proud of our accomplishment. It’s an awesome feeling to know that you didn’t quit on yourself. That feeling is something I’m not going to get tired of..so I gotta keep going. On another note at the beginning of every hour I do a short five minute work-out (it works now that I am on vacation, but I will have to adjust it once I start school again)…whether it be a a leg work out or sit ups…it’s just great to be doing something beneficial for your body!

Day 3 (Jake)

Breakfast- 1:20

1 Cup of Multigrain Cheerios W/ Two Strawberries 2% Reduced Milk

Snack- 4:16 Cheesy Fiesta Potato (Taco Bell- only 270 Calories just saying ;D)

Lunch - 6:15 Mango Smoothie 260 Calories

             6:39 Blackpepper Tomato Sandwich w/ Mayo on Toasted Wheat Bread

*I know one of the rules were not to eat after 6:30, but i came home late. ;[

Ran a good five mile jog with Sophia today feels great.

Day 2 (Sophia)

(Sorry fell asleep after my three mile jog with Jake yesterday)

Breakfast - 1 Cup of Special K with Berries Cereal W/ 1 Cup of 2% Reduced Milk

Snack - banana and water

and I gave into a serving size of doritos :( (at least it wasn’t the whole bag!)

Lunch- Two meat tacos

Snack: orange with salt

5 Water bottles.

Day 2 (Jake)

(Sorry yesterday was a really hectic and busy day forgot to blog)

Breakfast - 8:32 1 Cup of Multigrain Cheerios Cereal W/ 1 Cup of 2% Reduced Milk

Snack - 1:02 Cup of Beef and Sprouts cooked with Olive Oil W/ Half and Onion Diced and Celery

        - 3:38 4 Strawberries

Lunch- 5:40 2 Blackpepper Tomato Sandwich w/ Mayo

 And 5 Frozen Strawberries.

Only 4 Water bottles.

Overall: I need to fix my sleeping pattern. When i went for a jog, approximately 3 Miles, i felt weak and exhausted to fast. I am conditioned for this type of jogging since im in weight training, and ironically we run alot. I feel asleep at four and woke up around at the beginning of Eight o Clock.

and it says i weight 148.6lbs. My Weight Training teacher doesn’t know how weigh for shiet man smfh.

Day 1- Jan. Monday 2, 2012 (Sophia)

Lunch 2:55- Three potato tacos, two cups of lettuce, half a lemon, 1/4 cup of cheese

Snack 4:58- Banana and a cup of water

Snack 5:40- Small potato with salt and lemon

On my fourth bottle of water!

First Day done. It’s hard to break the habit of having no eating habit and eating at all hours. I’ve been fighting the temptation to go into the pantry and get some Doritos. I’m going strong…I just gotta keep it up =)

Snack- 1:53 - 3 Skyflakes Crackers - 120 Cal

Lunch- 5:32 - Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes - 270 Cal.

I am running on my 6th bottle of water

TOTAL CALORIES : 800 Cal.

This is just the first day, and imma give myself props. Even though i had an item from Taco Bell, i chose to get something very small and in low-calories. It is hard in the beginning, but i know it is worth the challenge.

DAY UNO- Complete.

2012 New Year’s Resolution (Sophia)

Hey guys,

My starting weight is 129 at 5 ft. 4 in.

By May 2nd I would like to find myself anywhere along the lines of 115.

I’m going to say that I want to lose four pounds by the end of this month. 

Not that hard for some, but for other’s every pound is a challenge. 

The first step out the door is always the most difficult, that’s why Jake and I decided to go on this journey together. 

So here we gooooo! Get fit. Love Yourself. 2012. =)

2012 New years Resolution (Jake)

FOR THE MONTH OF JANUARY

SO guys.

I am weighing at 154 pounds with a height of 5”6.

To be in the normal range i must weigh at least 136-142.

My goal is to weight at least 148 pounds by the end of this month.

All fat. All cardio first. So 6 pounds it is.

January 2 Monday, 2012

We are starting.

Dieting Rule:

1.       No Junk Food.

2.       No Fast Food Meals.

3.       No fried food.

4.       NO MORE FRENCH FRIES.

5.       Drink a whole cup of water before eating a meal.

6.       Not eating after 6:30

7.       Blog/Document everything we eat down to every little detail.

8.       Drink six cups of water everyday

9.       *Don’t give into temptation

10.      Breakfast is essential.

11.      No dinner.

12.      *School meals =Ham and Turkey Subs no Mayo. Salad no Ranch Dressing. Strawberry/Peach parfaits. No granola.
